Katie Koston

Q&A

What do you really do at work?
As a Meetings and Strategic Partnership Manager, I am always looking for ways to make each meeting or event more successful than the last. From venue sourcing to securing sponsorships – my task list runs from A to Z, and I’m loving every bit of it!

Describe your Perfect Day.
Anywhere on the beach. Surrounded by family, friends, my dog and an endless amount of seafood. If you add mimosa’s, I won’t be upset.

What’s your Superpower?
Vision – I have what some would call a crystal ball. I can see a future destination in vivid color. Whether it’s knowing if it’ll be a boy or girl or correctly picking out the first attendee to complain about the temperature, I’m your go to! ...and yes, I have won the lottery.

What’s your life motto?
"The woman who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. The woman who walks alone is likely to find herself in places no one has been before." —Albert Einstein

What inspires you?
I’m inspired by risk. Starting something, I have no idea how to finish, witnessing people go for something new – anything that has the potential for failure (but not total disaster) gets my heart and creativity pumping.
