What do you really do at work?
In my office you will find an abundance of laughter, organizing, strategizing, teaching coworkers and learning from them. My daily agenda is to inspire those I work with and work for. Professional Development is always a priority ensuring the GMP team has the tools to thrive and focus on the people inside the remarkable associations and Society’s we work with, setting up all partnerships for success.
Describe your Perfect Day.
Spending a relaxing day with my family and friends at the cabin, while simultaneously watching the Green Bay Packers win the Super bowl, eating steak and having a glass of wine.
What’s your Superpower?
Leadership: I have a unique ability to rally the GMP crew to dominate any situation. My superpowers of persuasion and guidance help lead others to success.

What inspires you?
Believe it or not, I am inspired by challenges. If it doesn’t challenge you it doesn’t change you. I love helping the GMP team through their challenges along with the associations I work with.
Her Story:
Janel has over 15 years of experience working with national and international organizations. Janel’s pride and joy in guiding others to work together to succeed makes her the ideal candidate to oversee the professional development and human resource aspects of Global Management Partners.
As Consulting Director, Janel oversees and provides guidance to the Executive Directors who serve GMP clients. Janel also delivers hands-on client work as Executive Director of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. She keeps up to date on the latest trends impacting associations by being a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the Association Management Companies Institute (AMCI). She also serves on the Associations North Board of Directors.
Janel is an excellent leader and organizer, providing effective board and committee oversight, membership services, fundraising, meeting management, and coordinating various educational and social events. Janel’s a passionate altruist whose leadership and tremendous capacity for hard work exemplifies the company culture at GMP.
