Nicole Coon

Q&A

What do you really do at work?

Supporting the mission and vision of IATL by collaborating with leadership, volunteers, members, IATL Foundation, and the IATL team. This support includes governance, financial management, strategy, operations, communication, meeting and event planning, and connection.

Describe your Perfect Day.

Includes a well-balanced mix of productivity, socialization, creativity, and rest/rejuvenation. Whether it be a project at home — most likely, dinner with friends or connecting with my family, getting creative (painting, home décor or DIY problem solving), and time to relax. A given to any day will include a walk or two with my rescue dog Hazel.

What’s your Superpower?

It’s a tie between creativity and organization!

What’s your life motto?

A few adages I use often are “motivation follows action (not the other way around)” and “don’t put it down put it away.”

What inspires you?

My personal mission is to make things lovely, and people feel extraordinary – much of what inspires me is a passion for how I can live my mission daily. I’m also inspired by people and love connecting.
