Trish Shomion - CAE

Q&A

What do you really do at work?
I manage an outstanding team of individuals who thrive on seeing your organization succeed while working with your leadership and volunteer committees to ensure that all of our actions support your Mission and Vision. This involves governance, budget management, meeting planning, creative thinking, and effective communication

Describe your Perfect Day.
An early morning workout (but not too early), an adventure-filled day with my husband, and a nice dinner with good friends.  Wine included.

What’s your Superpower?
A glass half-full attitude!  I can see the positive in nearly any situation, and make it my goal to leave a trail of glitter wherever I go.  But not literally.  (Okay, sometimes literally.)

What’s your life motto?
“What would you do today if you knew you could not fail?”

What inspires you?
Serving others.  I love waking up every day and knowing that what I do has purpose; that somehow the work that I do today will make someone else’s life better.
