About Cecily
Based in North Carolina, Cecily is a passionate and mission-driven professional who thrives on building community, strengthening partnerships, and creating meaningful change. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management from Salem College, where she developed a strong foundation in strategic planning, volunteer coordination, and communications. Cecily has served in leadership roles for associations where she has overseen communications, event planning, and membership engagement.
Outside of work, Cecily volunteers for animal welfare causes and enjoys piddling around in her yard with her dogs and son.
What do you really do for work?
As the Member Engagement and Communications Manager, I support our chapter leaders, enhance member experiences, and make sure our communications are clear, meaningful, and aligned with our mission. My role is all about listening, collaborating, and creating opportunities for members to feel informed, involved, and inspired.
Describe your perfect day
Wake up by a body of water in my popup camper with my family and spend the day hiking, swimming, cooking, reading, and playing dominos.
