About Barb
Barb has 15 years of operational experience in Association Management, several years as Office Administrator for a large real estate office and was an Elementary School Teacher.
Barb graduated from the University of Wisconsin River Falls with a Bachelor of Science in Education.
When Barb is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loves yoga, playing the flute, rollerblading, and being on the lake.
What do you really do for work?
In my role as Director of Administration for GMP, I provide operational support in all areas of the Association Management Company. I am responsible for the organization and coordination of office operations, procedures, and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency. This position also provides support to the Accounting Team and Client Teams.
Describe your perfect day
My perfect day begins with early morning yoga and moving meditation, then out for a walk to the coffee shop as I listen to the birds sing, home to tend to my flowers and herbs, an afternoon with my grandchildren, a giant salad for dinner followed by an evening walk, then watching the beautiful sunset from my west-facing deck.

What inspires you?
My mother – I am the daughter of a women who even when broken kept walking and every time I doubt my strength, I remember that I came from her fire. That’s where my resilience, my courage and my magic were born.
